Case Study Blackberry Athoc
Client Snapshot

Challenge
Silicon Valley's BlackBerry AtHoc protects more than 70% of federal government and military personnel as well as thousands of private citizens and corporations around the world. In 2010, they chose Core and More Technologies to help them create and evolve a world-class digital strategy and web presence.

Solution
Beginning with a modest SEO engagement, over the initial 6-months we enjoyed 45% gains in organic traffic. As a result, they opted to capitalize on their success by expanding to include SEM, web design, and social media marketing. Over the past 9 years, a very strong partnership has emerged -- and we have launched two revisions to their corporate website as well as a globally accessible and highly secure single-sign-on 'customer portal' for client access to insider materials, product updates, and other classified materials. We also assumed setup and optimization of their CRM and marketing automation systems, and overhauled the supporting reporting structure by creating an entirely new paradigm which fully integrates with their existing platforms: that being Salesforce and Pardot alongside SourceCube [Link to /sourcecube/ page] (our proprietary solution) Lastly, we created a full-scale and long-term plan for brand recognition, lead growth, lead nurturing, and world-class reporting. When acquired by BlackBerry back in 2015, we were brought in to help facilitate all web transitions and ensure that any immediate post-acquisition integration needs were completely swiftly and efficiently.

Results

  • 0-6 Months Gains in organic traffic in excess of 3x!
  • Year 1: Increased traffic to the AtHoc site by over 100%, while also enjoying lower bounce rate, increased lead volume and pipeline, and 25% improvement in conversion rates.

Case Study Pall
Client Snapshot

Challenge
In 2013, NY Based Pall Corporation (PLL) was seeking a digital agency to partner on the creation of a brand new, global corporate website. In addition, their biopharmaceuticals division, the largest of the 12 distinct segments of the organization -- was seeking to transition from a traditional marketing program consisting largely of print advertising into a new and much more innovative approach including digital advertising. It was preferred that the agency of record have the ability to support both of these goals.

Solution
Core and More Technologies created a full brand and style guide for the organization. This document provided the guidelines for a complete revision catering to the needs of users in left to right, as well as right to left reading countries. We then provided all necessary wireframes and creatives for review purposes in the interest of setting the direction for the new corporate website. Also, we launched an initial pilot program using Google AdWords for the biopharm division whose goal was to validate there was value to be gained by going through a shift into the world of digital advertising.

Results
The Pall Director of Digital Marketing presented all of our guidelines and recommendations to the senior leadership team within six weeks of our kickoff. The recommendations were received with what he called "the least amount of resistance I have ever witnessed". The new site was ultimately launched with tremendous success. Avg. time on site increased by nearly 45% in the first week. Bounce rate declined 35% and has remained stable in this improvement. On the AdWords promotions for the Biopharm division, we improved click-through rates vs. a couple of prior campaigns by upwards of 80%, and created a reporting structure that was embraced across the organization. We presented the overall digital plan to their entire leadership team and also provided full training to the mid-level managers on our needs from them, and on what would be their reporting structure from us. Since that time, the results have been staggering and the trajectory has remaining upward.

Case Study The Perfume Spot

Challenge
The Perfume Spot is a major online retailer of brand name fragrances. As the challenge of success goes versus other products and industries, we have found that theirs is a daily battle to attain and maintain top positions where consumers are not always specific in their queries -- but they are certain of exactly what they want when they see it. Here, more than any others that we manage -- it is critical to present the right product and size to the right person and in a format most suitable to their device. Also, we have to make sure we have the right message and that we are accounting for ALL products. This client had somehow ended up with tens of thousands of disapproved ads over the years on Google. Also, their Bing Ads presence was not profitable. Also, their shopping feed was in disarray and pending suspension. Not to mention, they had about 500 products that were not showing up on search -- as there was no stock management program to ensure in stock/out of stock on their search campaigns.

Solution
Starting in February of 2015, we jumped in with both feed and dissected the entire account - look at day/date, regional, device, and product level performance. From there, we set out removing some 86k disapproved or irrelevant ads. Then we rebuilt all search campaigns into our own model that thereby enabled us to get all existing products online and to have the visibility into identifying which products needed to be moved into 'out of stock' status. Then we added a Google schema revision and worked with our agency partners at Google to ensure that the shopping account never faced another suspension. Finally, we put into place very robust remarketing strategies leveraging but not limited to the Criteo platform.

Results
The results have been staggering. In the first year, we generated an additional 1.5k transactions at about the same cost per. In addition to this, we were able to increase their transactions on Bing by 2x, while also reducing cost per sale by over 50%. Our in-stock/out-of-stock campaign model enables for nimble updates on this key aspect and enables us to always be collaborating.

Case Study Coso
Client Snapshot

Challenge
San Francisco, CA based CoSo Cloud approached us back in 2014 needing help. They had a new website project underway, and things were not going well. Also, they wanted to build and execute a digital marketing plan for the year that you would executable immediately upon launch of their new website, and they had not even gotten started on it.

Solution
We immediately jumped in and acted as the liaison on the web project on their behalf and working to manage the agency that they had already hired same. We drove the entire project in a completely new and better direction. In the end, we did end up having to assume all SEO and other aspects of the project as none of this was factored into the existing agreement. Also, we worked with internal stakeholders to develop a strategic marketing plan that was mutually consistent with their longer term vision and mutually supportive with short term objectives.

Results
We were able to get their new site to production on-time and on budget. Over the course of the ensuing year, we built upon this initial bare bones website and created a fully functional enterprise web presence. When they were ultimately acquired by NJ based AASKI Technologies, the new leadership team was so impressed with our work that they quickly hired us to build them a new website as well. When we launched our new digital marketing strategy, the results were initial slow, but we made steady progress. By the time we reached the 9 month point, we had created a robust lead generation program and had also deployed a nimble and effective lead nurturing program running on their existing Pardot investment.

Case Study Repat
Client Snapshot

Challenge
Comp-x Medical launched their Foreign Worker Repatriation program and came to Core and More Technologies to design and develop a new website for this venture. The challenge here was to create web-ready copy that would communicate all of the details of this specialty service in a laconic and compelling manner that would ultimately drive the design. The homepage itself had to accomplish a significant user journey from the HERO to the final call-to-action. It had to take the user through a multitude of touchpoints - communicating a fairly new concept of service, explanatory information about the processes involved, making the value proposition evident, mentioning industry verticals, briefly touching on details of the service channels, and finding a balance between a caring tone for all involved whilst speaking directly to the audience who is keen to drive down the cost of managing their patient..

Solution
We worked closely with the client in a discovery phase to uncover the details of their services and their potential target audience in order to create copy for the homepage that would ensure the user journey was compelling to the call-to-action. Our design team created a custom homepage and primary pages around the copy. The site was developed on WordPress CMS to be fully scalable and client-friendly.

Case Study Controltek
Client Snapshot

Challenge
Hayward, California based CONTROLTEK is a global provider of security solutions for cash transport as well as a diversity of other security related products including but not limited to ink tags. Comprised of three distinct divisions, their website was setup incorrectly from a structural standpoint. The various domains were being recognized separately, and so their traffic to the primary domain was being registered with bounces each time someone navigated to any of their subdivisions. In addition to this, their site was not optimized at all for the various search engines -- and they had no digital marketing plan whatsover.

Solution
Core and More Technologies came in and completely rebuilt the entire architecture of the site. Upon completion, their web presence improved drastically in terms of organic listings as well as the appearance of those listings - however the appearance of their websites and the navigation of same was still in need of much help. We designed a completely new look and feel to their entire web presence, while at the same time incorporating a new blog into the overall site structure. We leveraged the blog for full tagging of all articles to be used as a content distribution model across all products. By way of this tagging, we dynamically assigned blog posts to their related products; this created a tremendous user experience for the visitor, and laid the groundwork for significant gains in organic search visibility. At the same time, we launched new shopping campaigns and paid search improvements to the brand so as to ensure that prospects would easily find them in search engine results.

Results
The blog tagging expansion resulted in a near 2x increase in organic traffic (86.85%). Their new web presence resulted in a 2.9x increase is time being spent on the site, as well as an 80% decrease in bounce rate. This all occurred while driving 28% increases in overall site traffic. In addition, the shopping campaigns that we launched were the most successful in the history of the company in terms of conversions as well as cost-per conversion.

Case Study Fortifiedroofing
Client Snapshot

Challenge
Fortified Roofing, a fast-growing roofing contractor in NJ, was faced with a dilemma: They were perceived as a cutting edge service provider, but their website was very old and their overall messaging across the major search engines had become stale. Not to mention, they wanted to expand their visibility within 9 additional regions across the state. The timeline was tight, as their peak season was fast approaching.

Solution
Core and More Technologies worked quickly, efficiently and diligently to develop a robust plan that included a completely new website design, a full organic search engine optimization strategy (to bolster existing positions and to break ground in new areas), a brand new set of SEM promotions to support rapid visibility and lead generation, and a highly engaging social media strategy.

Results
The new site was launched within 3 months of project kickoff. The uptake in results was immediate. Now one year out, we can see that organic traffic is up 97% year over year. Site conversion rates have also improved by 10% over the same period. Our SEM program generated hundreds of new deals last year, and is up 75% so far in 2018 v. the same period in 2017. The results have been so great, that we are now expanding to include additional locations, and additional search engines!

Case Study Inc. Magazine
Client Snapshot

Challenge
Inc. Magazine wanted to increase the reach of their highly coveted Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in America. While performance was strong, they felt that there were those who might not be aware of the list and as a result, would be missing out on a great opportunity to gain some recognition for their amazing accomplishments!

Solution
We leveraged the Google Display Network to create expanded visibility via such additional targeting options as "Affinity Audiences" and "In-market Segments" We built a massive retargeting group (over 4 mm impressions!) for re-engagement through remarketing lists for search ads. We employed the latest innovations available via search advertising, such as the then-new countdown function. Lastly, all ads were pushed with A/B testing variations that included specific messaging for maximum performance.

Results
Click through rate (CTR) of a whopping 18% along with a conversion rate (CVR) of 27%. Targeting options were for pennies on the dollar v. past and similar efforts. Overall year over year vs. all prior years, the numbers we were able to generate eclipsed any same duration performance metrics in the history of all AdWords advertising for Inc Magazine. Just looking at the same period the year prior, we saw volume increase nearly 700%, while reducing their cost per lead acquisition by over 80%!! As a result, the Inc. Magazine team came back to us for international expansion!
